German economy grows and avoids recession
The German economy has avoided recession by growing 0.5% in the first quarter. 2012, said on Tuesday the Federal Office of Statistics. The GDP returned to a growth path after contracting 0.2% in the last quarter. 2011, the 1st time this has occurred since 2009.
